International Headache Genetics Consortium
The International Headache Genetics Consortium (IHGC) is a multinational research collaboration studying the genetic causes and background of headaches and related disorders. It aims to boost research in this area by bringing together the increasing wealth of well-characterised genetic information and high-quality diagnostic data, as well as analysis expertise, to identify genetic risk factors and their biological consequences to provide a deeper understanding of aetiology and discover new targets for drug therapy.
